APPLICATION HIGHLIGHTS:

Zirconium oxide has proven itself in several wire guide applications. It's high strength makes it more tolerant of side loads than nearly all other ceramics. It can be produced with highly polished low friction surfaces to prevent snags and tangles especially with fine gauge wire. It is a non-shedding material; not a potential source of contamination in final product. The light color makes it easy to see fine gauge metallic materials against it helping minimize scrap rates from broken or missing wire in an assembly.
