Accuratus started in business supplying precision ceramic components primarily for the microwave and laser markets. Today, Accuratus helps customers like you develop solutions and solve problems in a wide variety of applications in a diverse range of markets. Whether it is application engineering to help with appropriate cceramic material selection and developing manufacturable ceramic products or producing the ceramic and glass components or supplying the glass and ceramic materials, WE CAN HELP YOU! Accuratus was founded in 1977 by Dr. Jay Comeforo. Dr. Comeforo was a respected ceramic scientist and successful entrepreneur who came out of retirement to found Accuratus. Dr. Comeforo saw a need for the supply of precision engineered and fabricated ceramic components for advanced technology applications supported by sound scientific and engineering principles. Accuratus continues to meet these commitments with technically trained,, responsive customer support staff. In 1983 Dr. Comeforo retired, selling Accuratus to his management team and an outside investor. Accuratus continued to grow, outgrowing its original Washington, New Jersey manufacturing space in 2006. Accuratus moved to a refurbished and updated factory of 21,000 square feet in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
